The news of the death of Afridza Munandar, a young
Indonesian motor racer in an accident at the Asia Talent Cup (ATC) race at the
Sepang Circuit, Malaysia shocked families in the Indonesian country.
At that time, the Afridza family in Tasikmalaya, West Java
was gathering at Afridza grandmother's house to watch together with the
20-year-old racer on the screen. But the enthusiasm of the relatives witnessed
Afridza's shrewdness riding an iron horse that ended in mourning.
Rally Topasandi (38), uncle Afridza said that since Saturday
2 October afternoon, all families and relatives gathered to watch together at
Perum Tamansari Indah, Kersamenek Village, Kawalu District, Tasikmalaya City.
"When the race began, all of them immediately focused
on watching television. But not yet 3/4 of the round there was a red flag
because there was a crash around the corner, but at that time the camera was
still focused on the race group," he said, Sunday (3/10/2019) .
Afridza Relatives Searching Information About Afridza Munandar
The Afridza family wants to reassure information about the
Afridza accident by searching for footage from the YouTube channel. In one
broadcast, Rally only saw ambulances and helicopters, while motorcycle number 4
ridden by Afridza was not seen.
"Then we received information that Afridza was a victim
of an accident and was evacuated by helicopter. We immediately prayed but
continued to look for information on how things were up to date," he said.
Death of the Indonesian racer
Some time after that, the Afridza family received a call
from the management of Afridza Munandar. The family received word that Afridza Munandar
was on his way to the hospital.
But not long after, the family received another phone call
from management to say that Afridza had death.
"From the information we received, so Afridza until the
hospital had died. We didn't believe it, so we tried to find other information
about Afridza Munandar. We opened the MotoGP site.
"From there we believe that our brother Afridza Munandar
death. We are sincere with the departure of Afridza Munandar," he
concluded.
