Both Rashford and Mason Greenwood are products of the Manchester United academy. Both of them began to be a figure that relied on by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the Red Devils attack line. |
Earlier today, they both started in the match against
Partizan Belgrade. Both of them made one goal when the Red Devils flung the
Serbian team with a score of 3-0.
Scholes considered that Rashford had one problem which made
him less sharp in MU's attack line. "For Marcus, if there is one thing
that is very lacking from Marcus, namely his calmness in front of goal,"
Scholes said to BT Sports.
Marcus Is Too Hurried
Scholes admitted that he had been watching the Rashford game
in recent years. He considered that the 22-year-old Marcus striker tended to
be in a hurry in front of goal, so Marcus often wasted many good opportunities
he got.
"Marcus is in too much of a hurry about everything.
Marcus is unable to think calmly, so he misses some of the opportunities that
he could easily turn into goals."
Greenwood is Better
Scholes also plainly said that for aspects of calm and final
settlement, Mason Greenwood was far superior to Rashford. He believes that the 18-year-old Greenwood striker will be a
very lethal goal machine for United in the future.
"We can see what Mason Greenwood is doing today and I
think Greenwood will be a better goalscorer than Marcus, because he has very good
calm in front of goal." Scholes stressed.
Top Scores
Marcus Rashford is currently the top scorer while Manchester
United.
He has packed a total of eight goals for the Red Devils in
all competitions this season.
